RDP.RU is a Russian network-equipment and software vendor, part of the Rostelecom group since 2021. It develops deep packet inspection (DPI) systems and the network hardware used in TSPU, the "technical means of countering threats" installed on the networks of Russian telecom operators.

Its product line includes EcoDPI for traffic analysis and protocol/application recognition, EcoFilter for content filtering, EcoBRAS for subscriber access control (bandwidth limiting and redirection to an operator portal), and ExoZR for compliance with free-access requirements for socially significant sites.

Role in Russian internet censorship.

TSPU is the technical backbone of Roskomnadzor's centralised filtering system. Units are installed at most Russian ISPs and inspect all subscriber traffic, deciding whether to pass it, throttle it (as applied to Twitter/X/YouTube), or block it outright for resources on the state's prohibited list. Operators are legally required to host the equipment, supply primary and backup power, and grant remote access to Roskomnadzor, the Radio Frequency Centre (GRChTs) and vendor engineers. Obstructing remote administration is prohibited. Configuration and control rest exclusively with Roskomnadzor. RDP.RU develops the solutions; deployment across operator networks is handled by the integrator DCOA (Data-processing and Automation Centre).
